I'm almost entirely sure that the bite force was mixed up, I recently watched a show on the Discovery Show, where it showed the shark bite as between 350 and 400, when the human bite force was only in the 100's. And yet, it said "recorded", but still, they should continue to research if by some reason the most powerful shark bite was in the 100's.

PS- One of the strongest bite forces recorded was the Nile Crocodile, at over 2500 pounds of force!

Hasn't everyone heard the playing Mozart's music enhances brain activity? I'm sure not for just rats. Or just Mozart's music. Any good music (most likely classical) enhance the brain's activity.

Actually the designer of the NIKE Swoosh was only paid $20.

She drew it on a napkin in a coffee shop and gave it to the creter of NIKE and only asked for $20.

She later sued him because she didn't think she got a fair amount (this, of course, was AFTER NIKE became popular).

from wordorigins.org:

Testify
There is bit of folklore floating about that the word testify (with its associated forms like testimony and testament) derives from testicle. The legend has it that ancient Romans would hold their testes while swearing oaths. This is not true. The word does not derive from testicle, nor did Romans swear oaths on their private parts.

Testify, et. al., derives from the Latin testis meaning witness. Testicle also derives from testis. The testes are witnesses to a man's virility.

Have a history teacher explain this ---- If they can?

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839. Lee
Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their! three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot in a car called a 'Lincoln' made by Ford.

Booth ran from the theater and was caught in a warehouse.
Oswald ran from a warehouse and was caught in a theater.

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials! And here's the
kicker:

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland.
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

Creepy, huh?
